Despite a somewhat misleading name, Macao Café is one of the best Italian restaurants on the island. A fixed star in the island's culinary sky for decades now. The well-assorted wine list accompanies the tempting menu, which during the summer months also boasts exquisite pizzas. Make sure to reserve your table well in advance, it's worth the while.

Without a doubt the most pleasant new discovery of recent years. Opened in June 2022, the country inn once known as Can Cires has had a pleasing visual refresh and modernisation. The menu is more than pleasant - small but varied and changes frequently. The commitment to using local and regional products and the responsible handling of meat are remarkable: not only do animals come from certified organic farming, but also are they processed in their entirety to counteract the waste of valuable raw materials.
