There is exactly one bathtub at Legado, and it is in this room. Free-standing Corian, set at the window, so you lie in it and look out over the garden and the vineyards beyond it. Fill it late in the afternoon, when the light goes long over the vines — that is the hour this room was built for.

Twenty-five square metres on the first floor of the main house. One floor-to-ceiling window, and beside it a door that opens onto a French balcony — push it wide in the morning and the room fills with garden air. The bathroom is open to the room: rain shower, no doors, nothing in the way.
